So I went to Nordstroms, with my heart set on getting the Michael Kors Palm Beach Shopper, of course in the vanilla white color, perfect for a spring season. So to my dismay, when I arrived at Nordstroms they were completely sold out of that particular color. A brief state of disappointment. I was determined to find a bag, then some how I drifted over to the Laundry by Shelli Segal bag section, where the very sweet sales lady convinced me to buy this Lenore Oversized Shoulder Bag. Funny that I say convinced, even though it’s not that hard to sell me anything.

Lenore | Oversized Shoulder Bag by Shelli Segal
I went shopping today with the goal in mind to find the perfect multi-purpose school tote. Not just any big tote, but one that can fit my textbooks, notebooks soccer jerseys, magazines, umbrella, with many pockets to securely hold my cell / axim / ipod / keys / pepper spay, wallet / pencils and pens / lip gloss / – (you know scarpe nike, the little necessities that easily get lost in huge totes). That would make the perfect tote, if I could just stuff all that stuff in one bag. Although Fake Oakley Sunglasses, I’ve heard that carrying two designer bags instead of one, is the latest trend. I would, not because I’m a designer fanatic but for the simple fact that I like to carry my life around with me.
I guess it’s safe to say that my search for the perfect multi-purpose school tote has not yet been accomplished. You can get this Laundry by Shelli Segal bag at most department stores for $248.
So about this Laundry by Shelli Segal bag, not exactly what I had in mind for a school tote, but it will temporarily satisfy the job. The dimension of this bag is 17 1/2″ width x 12″ height x 7 1/2″ depth, a good size to hold all my crap. However, the metallic leather material of this bag appears to be very thin, so you wont see me stuffing too much stuff in it. Well at least not the heavy things like my textbooks. I appreciate the four exterior pockets and five interior pockets, just the thing to hold those little necessities that get lost. (note: Description on Nordstrom site says three exterior pockets, but there are four). Overall I like the quality of this bag, and the retail price of $248 is incredibly reasonable for all that you get. I’m pretty sure it will last me a long time, well at least until my devil cat sees the shiny dangling gold chain and hanging tassel accents, then kiss this bag goodbye. This bag doesn’t come with a dust bag (to protect bag from dust or from evil pets) so I guess it’s a gamble I have to take to have this trendy tote.
