The color payoff is good, so it turns out mostly opaque, but the shimmer is more sparkled on top than it is truly embedded with the color, so it does result in some fall out. It reminded me a little of MAC Half-Wild when really sheered out, though darker. Urban Decay Purple Haze is fairly similar with a matte finish and more purple in it.
